Why Dentistry: I chose to pursue dentistry because it is a profession that allows dentists to form deeper connections with patients and give them the confidence they need through a beautiful smile. Oral hygiene can often be inaccessible or not a priority for lower-income communities, so I hope to provide affordable and accessible care in the future.

Why Dentistry: I chose dentistry because I love the different aspects that it entails and the effect it can have on an individual. It can truly change one’s demeanor and their confidence within themselves. Unfortunately for many individuals, going to the dentist is a luxury because of the high cost point of treatments. I hope to make going to the dentist a more pleasurable experience and affordable.

Why Dentistry: I have always wanted to work in the medical field, and dentistry has long been an interesting career. My goal is to support immigrant communities, as it is often harder and more expensive for them to access oral hygiene care. Through dentistry, I want to make a meaningful impact by providing dental care and education to those who need it most.

Why Dentistry: My positive experience with my orthodontist sparked my interest for dentistry which pushed me to shadow and learn more about different fields in the career. I love seeing dentists work with recurring patients, creating a bond of trust and a sense of community. Through dentistry, I wish to achieve my goal of working directly with the community and giving back. Just as my dentist helped restore my smile, I aspire to provide compassionate dental care, empowering patients not just with improved oral health, but also with renewed confidence.

Why Dentistry: I've always wanted to do a med related career and when I saw how dentists not only help with making people feel confident but also have such a close relationship with their patients I found myself wanting that kind of career. I enjoy the fact that I can help individuals physically but also mentally one smile at a time
